We are now welcoming engaged employees to one of the hospital's specialized care departments. The Gastrointestinal and Kidney Department 100B2 conducts operations that are specialized in investigations and treatments of patients with gastrointestinal, liver, and kidney diseases. The department has 17 beds on weekdays and 12 beds on weekends. All patients are cared for in single rooms with their own toilet and shower, which creates good conditions for both patient privacy and high care quality.

Your Mission

As a nursing assistant, you will work in a care team together with a nurse and be responsible for the basic care of 5–7 patients.

If you are a nursing student who has completed semester 4, you may work as a care assistant, which means that in addition to basic care, you can be assigned extended delegations such as IV insertion, sample collection, and patient admission.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, a nursing student from semester 3, or a medical student from semester 6.

Your Competence

You have good knowledge and skills in the care and nursing profession. You also have good computer skills, and it is an advantage if you are familiar with the Cosmic journal system.

You have a flexible approach, good teamwork skills, you focus on the patient, are responsible, and motivated in your work with close patient care.

Our patients come both acutely and planned, our workload can vary quickly, and it is therefore important that you have good prioritization skills, are flexible, and can vary your work pace.

We Offer

We offer you a special fixed-term employment with an introduction tailored to your experience. Working hours day/evening/weekend, (possible night shifts depending on previous experience)

We would like you to work at least five weeks during weeks 26-33.

Start date according to agreement. There is a possibility for continued hourly employment during the fall and study salary during semester 6 in the nursing program. The last application date is March 31.
